Hello Vjeko and other NAV-gurus! I am totally new to ERP systems and MS Dynamics NAV, but I am eager to become a good NAV application consultant.

How shall I begin learning and understanding NAV 2009? I have no possibility to access the resources on PartnerSource or CustomerSource (I know I am missing a lot…).

Do you know of some good downloadable tutorials which explain how to use and understand MS Dynamics NAV?

So far, besides reading your blog, I am using the demo version of NAV 5, trying to find my way in there. I have also bought your book “Implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009” on Amazon, hoping it will shed some light on implementing and using NAV (it has not arrived yet).

Your advice of any kind is highly appreciated.

Thank you Vjeko. I’ve got my demo of NAV 5 from mibuso.com – I hope a demo of NAV 2009 will appear there shortly. I have called our Microsoft office (Slovakia), but they were not able to help me on spot. I will call them again on Monday.

Still, I cannot understand why documents and user guides for MS Dynamics NAV are so Top Secret Material only to be studied by partners and customers. I wrote to Dynamics Support team asking where I could buy CustomerSource materials for NAV 2009, but they replied that only partners and customers are allowed to buy these. Thanks God there is a functional HELP button in the demo version… 🙂
