What’s New in NAV 2016: Record Type Improvements

We all use records. And we all used to whine about records not supporting all the features we need. And they still don’t, but in Microsoft Dynamics NAV they support much more.

Some of the new features are well documented, some are somewhat documented. So here’s what I figured out so far is new about the Record data type.

Bug theater in Web services #2

imageThe bug with which I started this series is nothing critical. It manifests rarely, you can easily work around it. It’s in the “so what” category.

But the one I’ll talk about today is a tough beast, with not-so-easy workarounds that cause as much headache as the bug itself.

So, here comes bug #2: setting a date to 0D.
